Students to showcase work at Heritage Fair

The Simcoe County Museum hosts the 16th annual Simcoe County Heritage Fair on Wed., April 25. Students representing 17 schools across Simcoe County will showcase their projects on Canadian heritage and culture.

More than 700 students participated at the school level, and 100 of the highest-ranked projects will be exhibited at the regional fair hosted at the Museum. Media and residents are invited to join the Tuesday Evening Showcase on April 24 from 7 to 8 p.m., where students will share and present their projects.

Opening ceremonies take place on April 25 at 9:45 a.m. Project adjudication begins at 10 a.m. The Fair is open for public viewing from 12:15 to 2 p.m. Closing Ceremonies and awards presentation begin at 2 p.m.

Entrance to the Heritage Fair is admission by donation. The Museum is located at 1151 Highway 26 in Midhurst.
