Snow squall warning in effect for:
- Barrie - Collingwood - Hillsdale
Snow squalls continue today.
Local snow squalls will continue today. Strong winds may accompany these bands resulting in blowing snow at times.
The worst conditions are expected to remain west of the city of Barrie and Highway 400.
Local snowfall accumulations of 30 to 40 cm will be possible under the most intense bands by the time the snow squalls weaken later today.
Snow squalls cause weather conditions to vary considerably; changes from clear skies to heavy snow within just a few kilometres are common. Prepare for quickly changing and deteriorating travel conditions.
