Festivals and Events Ontario has crowned the top events in the province once again with its recently released list of Top 100 Festivals and Events.
In the local tourism area (Regional Tourism Organization 7) there were 16 events on the list, seven of which are in the Meaford, Blue Mountains, Collingwood and Clearview area.
This year’s winners included the following:

Meaford Scarecrow and Family Festival, Sept. 11-Oct. 22, 2018
Peak to Shore, June 4-8, 2018
Salsa at Blue, June 22-24, 2018
Sidelaunch Days, Aug. 11-12, 2018
Small Halls Festival, Sept. 27-30, 2018
The Blue Mountains Apple Harvest Festival, Oct. 6-8, 2018
Submissions for the list of 100 events come from Festivals and Events Ontario (FEO) members, and are reviewed by an independent panel of judges. The 2018 awards were given out March 2 at the FEO annual conference in Hamilton, Ontario.
