CLEARVIEW – Wear your sequins, sparkles and of course your snow pants to the 45th-annual Sunnidale Winterama as we celebrate “Jazzin’ the 20s” from Jan. 30 to Feb. 2 in New Lowell.

Sunnidale Winterama is a winter-themed festival presented by Clearview Township that has celebrated winter activities since 1975 in the village of New Lowell. Spend time in the great outdoors and take part in the family fun, all weekend long.

Enjoy the spaghetti supper, Burning of the Green, fireworks, Yuk Yuk’s comedy show, pancake breakfast, soup cook-off, and the famous bed races! New this year, the teen dance on Thursday, Jan. 30 starting at 7 p.m.

Meet the Winterama mascot “Winterama Willie” and compete in the log-sawing competition on Saturday, Feb. 1. Don’t miss opening act the Sultry Katz burlesque and broadway show and live music from The Graham Playford Trio at the adult dance on Feb. 1 starting at 8:30 p.m.

Purchase your Winterama button, a collector’s item since 1975, for $2 to participate in all the events. Tickets and buttons can be purchased from various local businesses, the New Lowell Legion and at the Clearview Administration Centre, 217 Gideon Street, Stayner.
