Staff and students at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board always look forward to the last week of September, so they can run and cycle with their classmates, and keep Terry Fox's dream alive - to find a cure for cancer.

Continuing the legacy of the Marathon of Hope, the 50 schools throughout the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board has raised an amazing $1,281,022 to date!

In 1980, Terry Fox challenged his fellow Canadians, “If we all donated just one dollar, we’d have $22 million for cancer research... there’s no reason that isn’t possible. No reason!”

Please support your son or daughter’s efforts to raise money for the Terry Fox Foundation at their school.

Terry never gave up hope and neither will the more than 22,000 students at the Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board, who will continue to enthusiastically participate and support this important goal.
