Today’s (Aug. 8) Local Live Lunch has been moved indoors.
Due to the rain, the regular live music and locally prepared lunch will be served up inside at the Simcoe Street Theatre (65 Simcoe Street).
This week’s performance is by The Mike McCarthy Band, and Tesoro is preparing a lunch of spicy italian sausage shells stuffed with ricotta cheese and spinach baked in a rose cream sauce and served with caesar salad.
Local Live Lunch is hosted by the Collingwood BIA and takes place on Wednesdays from noon to 1:30 p.m. Admission is free, lunch is $10 for the food and $1 for a bottle of water. You are welcome to bring your own lunch to the event.
