UPDATED: Power out for 1,000 Collingwood homes

A power outage was reported to Collingwood’s utility provider this morning

As of 7:30 a.m. this morning power was restored. EPCOR is reporting all homes should now have power.

Part of Collingwood is without power this morning. 

EPCOR is reporting there is an unplanned outage affecting 1,124 local customers. 

Crews have been dispatched to work on the issue. There is no word yet on how long the power will be out.
