Police name father, two children killed in Chesley house fire

A fire on June 11 in Chesley, Ontario consumed more than one home and killed three people, including two children.

Police have released the names and ages of the man and two children killed in a house fire in Chesley, Ontario in early June.

OPP said John Kramer, 36, Shailyn Kramer, 9 and Britnee Kramer, 5, were all killed in a fire that spread across more than one house on 5th Avenue Southwest in Chesley.

The fire broke out on June 11. South Bruce OPP received a 911 call at 2:20 a.m. reporting a structure fire.

After fire crews worked to put out the fire and emergency crews began searching the burned homes, OPP confirmed there were three people missing.

All three died in the fire, and police have released their names in a press release today (July 3).

According to the news release the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
