Outdoor rink closed for the season

The outdoor skating season in Collingwood has ended.

Collingwood’s Central Park outdoor rink closed yesterday and will not reopen until next winter, according to a notice posted to the town’s website.

Central Park indoor arena still has ice, and public skating continues on Saturdays from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. and Sundays from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m. until March 31. Public skating fees are $3 per person or $8 per family.

Parent and tot skating at Central Park arena continues to June 27 on Mondays and Thursdays at 10:30 a.m. for parents and children aged 6 years old or younger. There is no fee for parent and tot sessions.

There will also be PA Day skating at Central Park arena from 1:20 to 2:30 p.m. on May 3 and 31, and on June 7 and 28. Regular admission of $3 per person or $8 per family applies.
