Update: Sunday, March 4, 2018, 9:30 p.m.

Investigators are pleased to advise that the missing youth Jacob McKenna has been located safe at 8:45 p.m., March 4, 2018 in Wasaga Beach. He has been reunited with his family without incident.

Investigators and family wish to thank members of the public and the media for their efforts in this search.

TAY TOWNSHIP, ON -Members of the Southern Georgian Bay Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police are currently searching for a missing Waubaushene youth in the Tay Township area and seek the public's assistance locating him.

Jacob McKenna, 14 years, of Waubaushene was last seen leaving his home in Waubaushene at 4 p.m. on March 2, 2018 and has not been seen or heard from since. Jacob is described as a white male, 155 cm tall, 40 kg in weight, thin build, wavy blonde hair, blue eyes, last known to be wearing a black winter jacket with fur lining around the hood, black jeans, red running shoes, black baseball cap, black hoodie sweater. He has recently moved to the Waubaushene area and has ties to the Collingwood and Waterloo areas.

Family and Police are concerned for the wellbeing of the missing youth and due to his age. Anyone with information of the whereabouts of Jacob is asked to call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122.
