Provincial Constable Hassan Khan from the Collingwood and The Blue Mountains detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police was the recipient of an award at the recent Mothers Against Drunk Driving Toronto 2018 Excellence in Police Services event.

The event took place Tuesday Nov. 6 2018 at the Toronto Police Services Headquarters in Toronto where Constable Khan was recognized for his exemplary service in reducing the incidence of impaired driving and road safety.

Constable Khan is a 10 year member of the OPP and has spent his entire career here in Collingwood and The Blue Mountains assigned to front line patrol duties.

"It is an honour to have a Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP officer recognized for his enforcement efforts in taking impaired drivers off our roads. Cst. Khan is to be commended for his commitment to road safety," said Inspector Mary Shannon, detachment commander for the Collingwood/The Blue Mountains OPP.
