Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board has announced that due to the weather conditions, schools are closed in the North and West School Zones in the Simcoe Mukoska Catholic District School Board. Schools located in the south, central, Muskoka and Parry Sound regions will remain open for student learning. However, parents are encouraged to keep their children home if possible - a decision could be made later in the day to close additional schools.
School vehicle cancellation are in affect for all zones in Simcoe County and for St. Dominc's Catholic Secondary School and Monsignor Michael O'Leary in Bracebridge and St. Peter the Apostle in Parry Sound.
