TV show looking for a family to travel back in time for decades of family dinners.

There’s a chance a local family could be on a CBC TV show having a Cleaver-family style dinner.

CBC’s Back in Time for Dinner is casting for season two and looking for families from Collingwood, Muskoka, Orillia, Barrie, Grey Bruce, Peterborough, Kitchener, Waterloo, and London.

The show puts a family through 70 years of Canadian home life and national history through the dinner table. Each episode is a time-traveling adventure set in different decades. Their homes are transformed week-by-week to reflect the decade. The authenticity event touches gender roles, entertainment, technology, and kitchen gadgets.

The casting is being organized by 3Bird Media, and they will be looking for a fun and food loving family that lives and owns a home in Ontario around the areas of interest. The family must include two or more children between the ages of 13 and 21 and must be available between January and March 2019. To be eligible, members of the family must also be Canadian citizens or permanent residents.
