A Polish pianist with an international performance career and ties to Collingwood is recreating a series of his Carnegie Hall performances for a virtual audience over the next few weekends.

Beginning today, Daniel Wnukowski will be performing over the next four Saturdays. Today's piece is 24 Preludes of Chopin, and the live stream begins at 3 p.m. This will be the same program Wnukoswki performed exactly one year ago at Carnegie Hall.

Wnukowski is the founder of the Collingwood Summer Music Festival and the artistic director. He’s travelled the world as a pianist and now visits his parents at their home in Wasaga Beach.

Next week, he will perform a Beethoven 250th Anniversary Tribute, on May 23 he has scheduled an improv session, and May 30's stream will be successful stories of immigration with special guests.

The live stream does require pre-registration, but it is free. You can register online here. You can find past performances of Wnukowski's on his Facebook page.
