South Georgian Bay Ontario Health Team has launched a Community Wellness campaign in support of mental health week.

We are all too familiar with how to put on our PPE. While this is critical to keep safe during COVID-19, it is now time to also put on your wellness.

More than ever before we are faced with tasks that test our resilience and anxiety.

Recent research from the Canadian Mental Health Association with UBC found that 40 per cent of Canadians experienced a decline in their mental health since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Your resilience and dedication to keep our community safe and healthy during these unprecedented times is recognized across the community.

In recognition of mental health week from May 3-9, to help support you and your mental health during these times, the South Georgian Bay Ontario Health Team has launched our community wellness campaign #putonyourWELLNESS!

Check out the campaign here to access local mental health resources and nominate an individual or organization that deserves special recognition during this time.

Show us how you put on put on your wellness and tag us on Twitter @SGBOHT #putonyourwellness.

We encourage you to share these local resources broadly across the community.

Thank you for your diligence to keep our community healthy and safe, while supporting and cultivating a culture of kindness.
