COLLINGWOOD DOWNTOWN BUSINESS IMPROVEMENT AREA

In collaboration with the Collingwood Detachment of the OPP, the RCMP and the Bank of Canada, the Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area is presenting a free information session for our business community.

It will be held on Monday, May 28, starting at 6 p.m. at the Simcoe Street Theatre, 65 Simcoe St., Collingwood.

Topics Include:

  • Counterfeit detection and how to deal with it
  • Identity theft
  • Various scams and trends

Presentations by:

  • Cpl. John McMath, RCMP, Counterfeit Coordinator (Ontario)
  • Manuel Parreira, Bank of Canada, Regional Director (Ontario)
