Kiwanis Club of South Georgian Bay presented a cheque for $500 to the Hospice Georgian Triangle Children and Youth storytelling programs.

The Kiwanis Club of South Georgian Bay donated $500 to the Hospice Georgian Triangle Foundation in support of child and youth programming.

Kiwanis president, Bill Nicholson, and secretary, Martha Maguire, delivered the donation to Hospice on Oct. 8.

The money is earmarked for children and youth support, which is part of Keri-Lyn Durant's new role with Georgian Triangle Hospice.

Durant uses Pheobe the Sloth, a bright orange puppet, to help support kids and encourage them to feel comfortable asking difficult questions.
