Town Clerk Sara Almas is the first witness on a list of five released by the Judicial Inquiry team today.

Second on the list is Kim Wingrove, the former CAO of Collingwood from 2009 to 2011, third is Sandra Cooper, who was mayor of Collingwood from 2010 to 2018. Former Deputy Mayor Rick Lloyd (2010 to 2014) is the fourth on the list followed by former councillor Ian Chadwick (three terms with the last from 2010 to 2014).

According to Peter Rehak, director of communications for the Judicial Inquiry, the list is in running order, but is an initial list that is still subject to change. Rehak said Commission counsel will do the initial examination followed by the parties with standing who will get a chance to cross-examine with their own questions. There is no estimate for how long it will take to get through this initial list of witnesses.

The hearings begin Monday, April 15, at 10 a.m., and will continue on April 16, 18, 22, 23, 24, 25, 29 and 30. Times and dates are subject to change.

The hearings will be taking place in the town hall council chambers. Public seating is limited. The hearings will be carried live by Rogers on cable and the Internet as well as archived. Transcripts will also be available online at the end of each day. For more, visit the inquiry website here.
