Hockey fans are invited to a community parade on May 27 at 11 a.m. to celebrate the Collingwood Blues, the 2023 Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL) Buckland Cup Champions.
The parade will begin at the Eddie Bush Memorial Arena parking lot and will travel south on Ste. Marie Street, west on Hume Street, north on Hurontario Street, east on Simcoe Street, and then back to the EBMA parking lot.
Participants are encouraged to wear the Collingwood Blues team colours - blue, white, and gold - or your favourite team jersey to support the Blues.
Those watching the parade are asked to do so from the sidewalks since the roads along the route will remain open while the parade is escorted by Collingwood’s OPP.
The Blues are currently representing the OJHL at the National Junior A Championships taking place in Portage la Prairie, MB.
