Hometown Hockey weekend has officially kicked off and is running alongside Collingwood's Frozen in Time ice sculpture festival.
There's activities all day Saturday and Sunday downtown and it all leads to a live broadcast of an NHL game and pre-game show with Ron MacLean and Tara Slone on Hurontario Street in front of town hall.
This afternoon, ice carvers from Ice Culture battled it out on stage for bragging rights with a live carving competition.
