Crews continue to battle fire downtown Collingwood VIDEO

Hurontario Street is closed between Third and Fourth Streets

Fire crews from Collingwood and Clearview are fighting a fire at Sporting Life on Hurontario Street in Collingwood.

Collingwood Fire Chief Ross Parr said the fire call came in at 5:54 p.m. today and fire crews arrived to heavy smoke and flames coming from the Sporting Life building, which is adjacent to Lux Vape.

The store is also next to an Esso and Circle K, though Parr said the fire is contained to the Sporting Life store.

The fire is still burning inside the store.

There are three fire trucks on scene including one ladder truck. Firefighters are spraying the building from above.

Parr reports there were no injuries.

Sporting life is a retail store selling outdoor clothing and sportswear.

Hurontario Street between Third and Fourth Streets is closed.

Here is a video from the scene of the fire this evening.
