Hospice Georgian Triangle announced the organization's interim executive director, Trish Rawn, has taken on the position permanently as of May 6, 2021.

Rawn was hired as the interim director of the local hospice organization in July 2019.

According to a news release, she has 20 years experience in palliative care and 25 years of healthcare experience in the Collingwood area.

Board chair, Karen Sweet, said Hospice Georgian Triangle is grateful for Rawn's leadership as the interim executive director.

"Trish has consistently displayed qualities of empathy, strength, listening to others, thoughtfulness and has led by example, especially during the global pandemic," said Sweet in the news release. "Trish's continued leadership ensures that at Hospice Georgian Triangle, the values of dignity and respect are bestowed on everyone under hospice's care until their last breath."

Hospice Georgian Triangle operates Campbell House in Collingwood and has expanded some services to a downtown Collingwood location. The local hospice serves the communities of Collingwood, The Blue Mountains, Wasaga Beach, and Clearview Township.
