There are some temporary road closures coming up this weekend for events occurring on Saturday.
Pine Street parking lot will be closed starting at 7 p.m. on Friday (Nov. 16) until 7 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 17) for the HoHoHoliday 5K event set up and beer garden.
Pine Street from Second to Third Street will be closed starting at 11 a.m. for the race start. OPP will open the roads to traffic once the runners are through the course.
There will also be road closures on Ste. Marie Street, Hume Street and Hurontario Street for the Santa Claus Parade, happening in the evening on Nov. 17.
Ste. Marie Street will be closed from Huron Street to Third Street from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. for parade form up.
Ste. Marie Street from Third to Hume Street will be closed from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Hume Street from Ste. Marie Street to Hurontario Street and Hurontario Street from Hume to Huron Street will also be closed from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Nov. 17.
