Help shape agri-food initiatives at Simcoe County event

Results from a significant study of the area's agriculture and agri-food sector are available and regional partners are ready to talk about them

Agri-food sector businesses and area partners are invited to attend Agri-Food Study report back sessions to receive findings from the regional Agriculture and Agri-Food Study survey and provide feedback which will help shape future agri-food initiatives.

During the last nine months, partners from Simcoe, Grey and Bruce counties and the cities of Barrie and Orillia have been all ears, as they’ve travelled throughout the region collecting survey responses and conducting interviews with agri-food sector businesses and operators. More than 270 participants provided feedback resulting in more than 800,000 individual data points.

Simcoe County, Barrie and Orillia are hosting sessions at the following location and times:

Tangle Creek Golf & Country Club
4730 Side Rd 25, Thornton
Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2018 from 6:30 - 9 p.m. and Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 from 7 - 9:30 a.m.

Grey and Bruce Counties are hosting sessions at the following location and time:

Klages Mill and Garden
11 1st Avenue North, Chesley
Thursday, Nov. 29, 2018 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.
