Collingwood has released a list of 31 town employees who were paid $100,000 or more in 2017.

The former CAO John Brown tops the list at $194,196 followed by Clerk Sara Almas, Planning Director Nancy Farrer, Treasurer Marjory Leonard, Director of Parks, Recreation and Culture Dean Collver and Director of Public Works and Engineering Brian MacDonald, all receiving a little over $144,000 in 2017.

Director of Marketing and Business Development Martin Rydlo, Deputy Director of Financial Planning Policy Development Dennis Sloan and Fire Chief Ross Parr received salaries in the $130,000 range, with Parr’s being highest of the group at $139,879.

Others on the list include 12 staff from the fire department including firefighters, captains and officers; Ken Haigh, CEO of the Collingwood Public Library; and department managers. You can see the full list here.

The list is required to be made public due to the Public Sector Salary Disclosure Act, which mandates all municipalities, as organizations who receive public funding from the province, disclose the names, positions, salaries and total taxable benefits of employees paid $100,000 or more in a calendar year.
