The Simcoe County District School Board (SCDSB) is hosting a series of six information sessions for parents and guardians to learn about special education in the SCDSB, and how to support students with special education needs.

The next session, Accessing Support in the Community, is on March 19 and offers an opportunity for parents to connect with community partners. There will be booths from various agencies and organizations throughout Simcoe County who are committed to helping families who have children with special needs.

Parents are invited to drop in between 6 and 7 p.m. at the SCDSB Education Centre, located at 1170 Highway 26 in Midhurst.

The last session of the series takes place April 16, covering the topic of Understanding Alternative/Non-Academic IEP Goals.
