The artistic director and creator of Collingwood Summer Music Festival marked Canada Day with a throwback to the festival's inaugural gala concert and an orchestral performance of the national anthem.

Daniel Vnukowski, an international pianist, created the Collingwood Summer Music Festival last year. He sent a newsletter out today to wish patrons and the festival audience a happy Canada Day. The newsletter featured a video of the Elmer Iseler Singers led by Lydia Adams and the Collingwood Festival Orchestra led by Mayume Seler performing O Canada.

The video was recorded live last year at New Life Church in Collingwood during the orchestra and choir performance.

Vnukowski has been doing some of his own live performances from home during the pandemic lockdown. He has also announced he will be starting a live-streaming series on Saturday's at noon starting July 4. Click here for more details.
