NEWS RELEASE
E3 COMMUNITY SERVICES
***********************

On Thursday, Sept. 30, E3 Community Services was selected to do a presentation for 100 Women Who Care South Georgian Triangle, a group that brings together women from across Collingwood, Creemore, Meaford, Stayner, Thornbury, and Wasaga Beach to make real and lasting impacts in our local communities.

The group’s current membership is approximately 180 women from across the South Georgian Triangle area. Four times a year, they meet and each contribute $100 to a local charity that is selected by the members.

When Nancy Godfrey, a member of the group and a loyal supporter of E3, approached the team at E3 about this opportunity, they jumped at the chance to help Nancy present to the group!

E3 was so grateful for the opportunity to share more about their impact in the community and new opportunities over the next few years, including their new volunteer program, which is already in development. This integrated volunteer program will enhance inclusive community engagement and belonging, centred around the needs of people supported at E3, and will expand many areas of the organization to allow people to pursue their individual, self-directed interests including painting, gardening, and cooking.

A full-time volunteer manager and community liaison will manage the program to ensure that everyone is connected in a process of experiential learning for growth that responds to everyone’s diverse needs and interests. E3 is actively searching for the right person for this position, and we welcome you to please reach out to E3 if you’re interested in joining the team.

We are so excited to announce that E3 Community Services was the selected recipient for the fall meeting and has already received almost $20,000 from this generous group of women! Thank you so much to Nancy Godfrey and everyone at 100 Women Who Care South Georgian Triangle! Your generous donations will go a long way in supporting E3’s new volunteer program.
