Collingwood Summer Art Market opens on Simcoe Street

The market will run every Saturday through Aug. 27, and will feature about a dozen local artists, live music, and family-friendly entertainment

A new artist market opened today and will be back on Simcoe Street every Saturday this summer, spearheaded by the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts.

The Collingwood Summer Art Market will run from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays now through Aug. 27, and will feature between 10 and 12 artists of various mediums plus live music (arranged by the Collingwood Downtown BIA) and guest artists.

The market is set up in Tremont Square in the creative district area on Simcoe Street.

Artists interested in participating in the market can visit the Blue Mountain Foundation for the Arts website for more information.
