Canadians on the podium at today's World Cup races

Photos from today's FIS World Cup Ski Cross event.

Canadian Olympic gold medalist Brady Leman was victorious again on home snow.

Leman took gold at the FIS World Cup Ski Cross at Blue Mountain today, followed by French skier Bastien Midol in second and Johannes Rohrweck of Austria. Canadian Kevin Drury won the consolation race and skied into a fifth place finish.

In the women’s event, Canada again made the podium with Marielle Thompson winning a silver medal in the ladies event.

Fanny Smith of Switzerland took the gold medal and Alizee Baron of France won third. Brittany Phelan crashed in the final, but finished the race to place fourth.
