Campaign encourages Canadians to give blood in remembrance of Armed Forces

This November, Canadian Blood Services is commemorating Remembrance Day by encouraging Canadians to honour the men and women od the Canadian Armed Forces by donating blood. 

According to Canadian Blood Services, they are partnering with Canadian Armed Forces for the campaign. 

Members of the public are encouraged to donate cash to Canadian Blood Services and/or to donate blood in November. 

There is a blood donor clinic at the Collingwood Legion (490 Ontario Street) on Nov. 13 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

There is also a clinic in Stayner at Clearview Community Church on Nov. 29 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. and in Wasaga Beach at the RecPlex on Nov. 9 from 9 a.m. to noon.
