Hospice Georgian Triangle (HGT) is very proud to announce the opening of the Hilda Noble Community Resource Library at Campbell House.

Friends and family gathered on Jan. 17, 2019 at Campbell House for the official dedication in recognition of the generous support that Wayne and Hilda Noble have provided to HGT for many years.

As explained by Heather Goodwin, HGT’s Integrated Care Coordinator, “When most people think of a library they think only of books. The Hilda Noble Community Resource Library is more than just books. It is a place of refuge, knowledge, and solitude. With this library we are able to offer free access to a wealth of information and resources to enable and empower patients, families and caregivers to become active partners in care.

We have knowledgeable and dedicated, volunteers who are continuing to work towards building a collection of the best and most current information for our community. Our library contains books and resources on Advanced Care Planning, Caregiving, Grief and Bereavement, Alternative Therapies, Wellness and much more.”

According to Wayne “Hilda was a life-long volunteer. She would be very proud of this library knowing that it is going to support the people of our community.”

For more information regarding access to the Hilda Noble Community Resource Library or any of HGT’s free services, please contact Heather Goodwin, Integrated Care Coordinator at 705-444-2555, extension 7524.
