The Collingwood Downtown Business Improvement Area is celebrating the 2022 edition of the Collingwood Pride Festival in style.
In addition to the amazing lineup of shows and special events presented by the Pride Festival organizing committee, downtown businesses will be decorating in style for the event — even our farmers’ market vendors will be flying the colours in recognition of this festival.
The downtown will be full of music and fun all day on Saturday, July 16, as entertainers from the Collingwood Circus Club stroll throughout the downtown — stilt walkers, jugglers, hula hoopers and more.
Of course, the highlight of the day will be Collingwood’s first Pride Parade. Planning has begun on what will become a wonderful annual tradition for our community. Mark your calendars for Saturday, July 16, beginning at 5 p.m., and plan to join the fun.
Now is the time to register your float with the committee. There is no entry fee for community groups and non-profit organizations. The commercial entry fee is just $50.
We want to make the first-ever Collingwood Pride Parade the best possible. We encourage every business and organization in our community to consider becoming involved. It’s a great way to promote your business or group and show your support for this important event.
