A power outage in Collingwood is impacting about 9,180 homes and businesses, according to EPCOR's outage tracker.

The power flickered a few times between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Sept. 26 and went out shortly after 3 p.m. The outage originally appeared to impact Collingwood's west end, but later was reported more widespread.

The EPCOR outage tracker notes there are two outages impacting Collingwood residences and businesses from Long Point Road to the west and to Raglan Street in the east.

The first reported outage impacted about 444 homes in the west end of Collingwood between Sixth, High, First, and Birch Streets. There's no estimate for when power will be restored there.

The second reported outage, impacting most of Collingwood, includes 8,736 homes and businesses and EPCOR estimates power will be restored by 5 p.m. tonight.

Causes for both outages are listed as "undetermined."
