As I read the comments and subjects that are important to the community, the one thing I never see is transportation.
There is no easy way to get from Collingwood, or anywhere else in the region to the airport or hospitals, or main bus terminal in Toronto via public transport.
There used to be one bus per day by Greyhound, but that was cancelled.
There is a GO train from Barrie, but how do you get to Barrie from Collingwood?
Frankly, I find the transport system in Ontario, appalling, and nothing is being done to improve it.
