Editor,
So, if you’ve just purchased a hot cup of coffee from your favourite barista, I wouldn’t recommend driving down High Street unless you enjoy having hot coffee spilling into your lap and all over your cup holders.
This street is well used and attached to many stores, the fire station, access to the mountains and more. It’s always buzzing with cars, ambulances, fire trucks, bikes and pedestrians.
I was driving in the rain the other day and hit a puddle so deep that if a pedestrian happened to be walking by, they would have received a street shower resulting in a soaking so bad it would be down to their bones.
Clearly, most of the damage that has been done to the street has been caused by the amazingly efficient snowplows (my hats off to you tireless winter workers!). However, it has really taken a toll on this poor road.
Anyway, I just wanted to drop a note to get the fabulous town of Collingwood fixed-up right and, hopefully, the general public feels the same as I do. I love this town and I want to ensure we maintain and treat it with the utmost respect.
