Editor,

I was very disappointed to think visiting Sunset Point Park would cost me $10 an hour.

I resided in Collingwood for ten years from 1975 - 1985, a great place to bring up kids (especially teenagers). We all as a family of six loved it there.

I now try to get up at least once a year (before COVID) to visit friends. When visiting my daughter in New Lowell, I always drive up to sit by the water for a short period before driving back to Kitchener.

I love the water and fresh air so now can't believe it will cost me $10 for the short visit. That's very disappointing for an 81-year-old who just loves Collingwood. I have been visiting since 1948.
