Editor,

In reply to not charging parking, I feel it is good to appreciate Collingwood residents with free parking. When I go to other towns I accept paid parking.

After my wife Pat and I, read about having to pay for parking at Millennium Park, we do not think it is fair for residents from neighbouring municipalities to have to pay to park at Millennium Park.

When we are in Collingwood for shopping, when we are finished with our shopping we go and pick up lunch and go to Millennium Park and eat our lunch, which may be about 30 minutes at the most.

We are not going to pay $10 for an hour or $50 for the day just to sit and eat our lunch.

We have a resident pass for The Town of The Blue Mountains, but it is also nice to be able to go to Millennium Park when we are in Collingwood.

I play around with photography and go there sometimes to take pictures.

We totally think it is wrong to charge residents from a municipality that is next door to you.
