The Town of The Blue Mountains would like to inform residents that the hours of operation at the town waste disposal site will be changing beginning on Monday, August 3, 2020.
The new hours of the waste disposal site will be from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
The change in hours is to reflect the results of the public survey that was conducted in 2019, which indicated a preference for the waste disposal site to be open on Saturdays. To accommodate being open on Saturdays, the waste disposal site will now be closed on Mondays.
The new hours will be in place on a trial basis until the end of November.
As a reminder, residents should follow all public health guidelines, as recommended by the public health unit.
Please ensure that you practice physical distancing and ensure a two-metre distance between other customers and staff members. If you have any questions about what is accepted at the waste disposal site, please use the TBM Waste Resource app, which is available for download on Apple and Android devices.
