Cheryl Cameron would like to recognize the work of Charlotte Lewins-Matthews, who works at Balmoral Place Retirement Community, where Cameron's dad lives.

"She is a ray of sunshine to all she cares for with her kind nature, twinkle in her eyes, bubbly personality and sense of humour," said Cameron. "She is one of those special angels amongst us who truly cares for all her residents and will notice and take the time to attend to extra little needs that may not necessarily be part of her job."

Cameron said she is grateful for Lewins-Matthews in her father's life and for helping him get through these past months of isolation.

CollingwoodToday would like your help in recognizing local essential workers from health care workers, physicians, cashiers and delivery drivers. If you'd like to say thanks to someone you know, please send a photo, their name, their job title, and your words of thanks to [email protected]. Please only send photos and information with permission.
