NEWS RELEASE
CLEARVIEW TOWNSHIP
*************************
As part of the provincial emergency order and to help stop the spread of COVID-19, the Clearview Youth Centre closed its doors on March 16.

With the arrival of summer and the end of the school year, the youth centre will continue to serve Clearview youth, despite the closure, by offering at-home summer activity kits.

The kits, being offered weekly from July 13 to Aug. 27, will help the Centre to connect with Clearview youth by offering them great activity options from home.

They will contain items to keep youth busy through exercise, do-it-yourself projects, hands-on activities, and delicious treats. They are available to Clearview youth ages 12 to 18 via curbside pick up or delivery. In addition to the at-home activities, the Centre will hold weekly zoom calls for youth interested in participating.

Thanks to the Government of Canada’s Emergency Community Support Fund and Community Foundations of Canada, the kits are free for Clearview youth ages 12 to 18. Kits are limited and will be provided on a first-come, first-served basis. To request an at-home Summer Activity Kit, fill out the request form online at www.discoverclearview.ca/youth-centre.

When it is deemed safe to do so the Youth Centre looks forward to opening its doors to Clearview’s youth once again.
