Tiger

Oh hi there, my name’s Tiger. I'm a five-year-old guy with a wild tiger mane and weighing in at a whopping tiger weight of 12lbs!

I arrived here at the GTHS not too long ago through their transfer program. This means I took a very long trip to get down here from way up north, along with some other cats and some dogs too.

I guess along with that, I should say how much of big change this was in my life. So many new places and faces and smells!

It is taking me a little while to get settled in after such a journey but the GTHS humans are being very patient and giving me all the time and space I need. All these new places and all these new people...it can be a bit overwhelming for a nervous guy like me.

I'm what the humans refer to as a "Spirit Cat" which means I'm quite under-socialized when it comes to humans and being a "pet cat." So, although most pets do have a little adjustment period while they settle into their new home and get to know their new humans, for me instead of days or weeks, it may take months! So, please be patient with me as I learn and don't get too discouraged if I'm a little shy and nervous at first.

I will take a little "decompression time" every time I re-start in a new place so, I sure hope my new family can be understanding of that.

I'd also ask, if I could, that I find a home with no scary dogs or noisy young children, pretty please!

If you're willing to give me the time I need to get to know you, I promise there is nothing more rewarding than that first time when I actually come out from hiding and approach you for some attention or come sit beside you on the couch while you're reading or watching tv.

My adoption fee is $125 and includes my neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and a microchip.

So, I know it'll take a very special someone to bring me home, but I sure hope that special someone finds me soon!!

Paws crossed,
xoxo Tiger
