Tawny

Oh...Hi there, my name is Tawny. I am a sweet, petite kitty at a wonderful young age of one-year-old and weighing in at about 7lbs.

I arrived at GTHS not too long ago with some other kitties after our humans realized there were just too many of us to care for. Please don't feel too sad for me, I'm here and ready to find a new family to love!

Like a lot of kitties, this change from my previous home to GTHS was a bit of a tough one... Once I arrived here, it was not long after that I became a momma cat to three beautiful babies, I spent some time with a wonderful foster family who helped me with my babies, who are now grown up and off to their furrever homes. So, now it is my turn!

It took me a long while to settle in at my foster home as change is hard for me! So, I hope my new family will keep that in mind when they bring me home....I need time, patience and understanding while I get used to yet another change in my life.

I'm what the humans call a Spirit Cat. It means I'm a little under-socialized with people, so my new family will have to understand that it may take me weeks or even months before I'm feeling settled and comfortable in my new home. My foster mom says I am a very gentle lady once I have warmed up to you. So...keep that in mind for our future! I also do like to be petted and sometimes I like to play gently.

I know not everyone has a home that's nice and quiet for me, or the patience to potentially wait for months for me to warm up to you, and that's okay. I know I'll find my purrrfect home eventually.

I'm a very sweet lady but am a bit hesitant around new humans still. So, maybe, just to make sure I'm as comfortable as possible and successful in my new home, I could find a family with no tiny humans. I hope that's not too much to ask!

It's just taking me a while to settle in and learn to trust all these new humans, so I think it would really help my progress if I can be in a quiet and calm home with only grown up humans.

Oh and um, maybe I could be your one and only kitty? I don't really like my cat roommates here at GTHS too much...hehe

My adoption fee is $125 and includes my spay, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip!

I can't wait to meet my new adult humans soon!!

Cautious purrs,
xoxo Tawny
