Lela

Hi humans!!

I'm Lela and I am one happy lady!

I was transferred to the GTHS about a month ago from another shelter, and have been lucky enough to spend the past few weeks in foster care!!

At 8-years-old, I'm a lovely senior girl. My foster family says I'm a VERY GOOD DOG!

I'm sweet and very loving and will happily follow you around wherever you go, and I enjoy spending my evenings curled up on the couch, cuddling with the humans. As much as I love naps, I do also love getting out for walks and car rides. Let's say I'm a relatively active senior! I'm also clever! I know lots of commands and am very well behaved in a home. I really really just want to please you and make you happy.

Okay, okay, now that I've told you how wonderful I am, I guess you're probably wondering why I'm in the "Special Paws" program. That's because I do have a few health challenges my new family will need to know about. Don't worry though, the GTHS team will be happy to tell you all about it! Plus, being in the “Special Paws” program, means I also have a reduced adoption fee!

If it sounds like I might be just the girl you're looking for, then please come meet me! I promise I'm a good girl and will be your very best friend for the rest of our days together.

The Adoption Counselors here at the shelter would love to introduce you to me and tell you a little more about me. The shelter is open for adoptions every day of the week between 12 p.m. - 4 p.m.

I can't wait to meet you!

Wags and snuggles, Lela

GTHS is at 549 Tenth Line in Collingwood, or visit www.gths.ca for more information.
