Stormy
Oh hi there, my name is Stormy, and although my "perma-grumpy face" might suggest that I also have a bit of a...stormy purrsonality, I'm actually a lovely girl! Just a bit shy, that's all. I'm one year old and a wonderful size at a cute 6lbs.
I'm a bit of a special girl, looking for a special home. I only say this 'cuz, as I mentioned, I'm a bit of a shy kitty still.
And for a shy girl like me, there sure have been a lot of big changes in my life! And I'll be honest, I don't really know too much about what being a "pet" means.
I'm still getting settled here at GTHS and really like to take my time getting to know new people. So, I'll need my new family to be aware of this and understanding of the fact that it may be weeks or months before I feel comfortable in my new home.
Every day the GTHS humans see a bit more and a bit more of my purrsonality come out, but this takes time. Although shy, nervous and a bit unsure, I really DO want to engage with humans...I just need some patience and guidance along the way.
What I find helps is having a little space of my own, like a cozy hidey hole or something. This helps me feel more secure and is also a good way for my humans to know that I'm feeling nervous when I go and tuck myself aware in there.
I really am a sweet girl who is just waiting to flourish! And waiting for the right person to come along and give me the time I need to do so.

My adoption fee is $125 and includes my spay, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip.
