Adopt Me: Pretty Poppy (adopted)

She would prefer to be an only child
Poppy

CollingwoodToday, in partnership with the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Poppy

Pretty Poppy is waiting for you! This beautiful five-year-old girl has been with us since August with very little interest from adopters.

Poor Poppy prefers to be an only child, so she can be a bit of a grumpy kitty sometimes in our big Main Cat Room.

We promise though, when you get this girl one-on-one she's a total lovebug.

Just look at those beautiful green eyes . . . How can you not fall in love with this girl?!

If you are looking to adopt and give all of your love to just one kitty at home, then Poppy just might be the girl for you.

Please make a trip over to the shelter and talk with our Adoption Counselors to learn more about Poppy. The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m., every single day of the week and we would be happy to introduce you to her.

For additional information, you can also visit our website www.gths.ca.

In other adoption news from the GTHS, longtime resident Gloria the cat was finally adopted after spending nearly a year at the shelter in search of a home.

Gloria originally came to the shelter pregnant. She had five kittens and acted as a surrogate mom for two more kittens. She was adopted this weekend. You can read more about Gloria here. here
