Lottie

Hey everyone, my name is Lottie - Lottie the Rotti hehe I'm a BIG beautiful three-year-old girl, weighing in at a solid 80+ lbs. So, I hope you've got room for a big doggie in your life.

If you can believe, a stunning girl like me actually arrived at GTHS as a stray and no one ever came to get me.

But the past is the past, so let's focus on the future and how terribly excited I am to find a loving family of my very own!

Before we go any further, I should probably tell you that I'm not what the GTHS humans call a "first time dog". My ideal placement and where I'd be most successful, is a home with humans who have experience with Rotti's and/or experience with strong, working breeds. If that's not you, thank you for thinking I'm beautiful and for reading my profile, but I just don't think we're going to be quite the right fit.

Anyways, let me tell you some more about me. I'm an incredibly smart girl and am a big time people pleaser! I will always try my best to do everything you ask of me and to learn new things quickly, so that you'll be happy with me.

In fact, my ideal home would be with humans who are willing and able to continue working with me on my commands and tricks, as this will help us bond and will also really help my continue to build my confidence.

It would also probably help to have a physically strong human hehe since my leash manners could use a little...polishing...I can be a pretty strong girl when I'm determined to go a different direction!

Now, most importantly, I have what the GTHS humans call "Stranger Danger" which essentially means that new people make me a little nervous and fearful, so I react with barking and carrying on, hoping that they won't come any closer. So, it will be important that my new family is understanding of this and are okay with helping me learn that new human friends aren't so scary!

So, I guess that's quick "me" summary for you. I really am such a sweet and wonderful girl, who just wants to be the very best dog I can be for my people! I'll just need a special, dog experienced someone to help me along the way. I'd likely do best in a home where I can be your one and only doggie too. I hope that's okay.

My adoption fee is $400 and includes my spay, up to date vaccinations, dewormer and a microchip!

Please please send your application in for me and the GTHS Adoption Team would be happy to tell you lots more about me!

Wags,
xoxo Lotti
