Adopt Me: Hagrid is a gentle giant just like his namesake (adopted)

He is an FIV+ cat, but that doesn't mean he can't live a long and happy life with you!

CollingwoodToday, in partnership with the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hagrid

Hey humans, I'm Hagrid. If you know who I'm named after, then you'll agree it's quite fitting. Not only am I a big hairy guy like THE Hagrid, but I'm also just as kind, lovely and wonderful as him too!

I'm three years old and a good size boy at almost 13lbs. But let me tell you...it is 13lbs of PURE KITTY LOVE.

The GTHS humans are soooo smitten hehe they all love me (and I mean, how can you not, I'm the absolute sweetest!)

I'm just one of those cats who truly just wants to love you and get lots of love in return. I mean...I'm looking for someone to love, you're looking for someone to love....purrfect fit, I'd say.

I should probably also let you know that I'm an FIV+ cat. Don't worry though! That doesn't mean I can't live a long and happy life with you! I am a special kitty but I don't require much more care than any other kitty cat.

All I need is a vet visit twice a year to make sure I'm in my best shape! Just ask one of our adoption counsellors to explain how awesome FIV+ cats are, we give the most love!

My adoption fee is by donation and includes my neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, dewormer, and a microchip.

I know it'll take a special someone to bring me home, but I sure hope that special someone finds me soon!! In return, I promise that our years together will be SO filled with love and snuggles! You won't regret bringing an FIV+ kitty like me home!

xoxo Hagrid
