CollingwoodToday, in partnership with the Georgian Triangle Humane Society, brings you a regular feature highlighting a special pet that is in need of adoption.

Hey there, my name is Gloria. I am a very pretty one and a half year old cat who is sooo ready to find her furever home! I came here to the amazing Georgian Triangle Humane Society way back in March.

It was quickly noticed that I was pregnant and off to a foster home I went. I settled into an awesome, loving foster home with a dedicated and experienced GTHS volunteer.

I had five healthy kittens and I was even a surrogate mom to two more small kittens. I nursed them and cared for them as if they were my own. That just proves I have an absolute heart of solid gold.

All my kittens have been adopted and now it’s my turn! I have been in GTHS's care since March and have been available for adoption in the big Main Room since Aug. 1.

I am a bit of a private girl (I don’t really like my kitty roommates to be honest) but I just love to play, play and play! Maybe we can bond over playtime? I bet it will make you laugh watching me have so much fun.

Please make a trip over to the shelter and talk with our Adoption Counselors to learn more about me. The GTHS is open for adoptions from 12 p.m. - 4 p.m., every single day of the week and they would be happy to introduce you to me! I can't wait to meet you and look forward to starting my new life with my new family soon.

xoxo Gorgeous Gloria
