Blue

Oh hi there humans, my name is Blue - Blue the orange and white cat. At nine years old, I'm technically considered a "senior" by GTHS standards but I'm a very youthful senior!

And I don't have to tell you that I'm handsome as heck hehe you can see for yourself. I'm also quite a nice sized boy at 11lbs. Oh and HOW CUTE is this little pink, freckly nose of mine?

I arrived at the GTHS a little while ago when some things started changing in my home that were causing me a great deal of stress. Because of this, I'd like to make a special request for my new home... please no kids and no doggies. They are just too scary for a sweet and shy guy like me.

Coming to GTHS sure has been a big change for me though! Thankfully, the humans here have been allowing me to settle in and get to know them at my own pace. If you take things slow with me, I'm sure to start trusting you sooner. Treats and nice gentle pets don't hurt either... hehe

I really am a very, very sweet boy! I just take a bit longer to adjust to change and to get to know new people. My previous family described me as a lovely, quiet and affectionate boy. So, if you've got a calm and quiet home for a calm and quiet boy, we just might be the purrfect fit.

The humans here have been referring to me as a "Spirit Cat" which just means that I'm a little more shy and take a little more time to settle in than most kitties. My new family will really need to be understanding my Spirit Cat status and please, please be patient with me. Spirit cats can sometimes take months and months before we feel comfortable in our new surroundings. But if you're willing to give me the time I need to get to know you, I promise there is nothing more rewarding than that first time I actually approach you looking for love and attention!

My adoption fee is $75 and includes my neuter, up-to-date vaccinations, de-wormer, and a microchip.

I know it'll take a special someone to bring me home, but I sure hope that special someone finds me soon. Take a chance on a shy guy like me and I promise, with time, you'll be rewarded with SUCH a wonderful kitty companion!

Paws crossed with hope,
xoxo Blue
